The Zags open with an exhibition at home on Oct. 27
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's basketball announced its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.
The non-conference slate includes six teams that finished in the top 100 of the NET last season, with four teams also earning bids to the NCAA Tournament.
The Zags open the season at home on Tuesday, Oct. 27, with an exhibition against Westmont before beginning the regular season with three-straight games inside the McCarthey Athletic Center.
Gonzaga hosts North Dakota State on Nov. 2 to officially tip off the regular season, followed by home matchups against Idaho on Nov. 6 and UC Riverside on Nov. 8. The Bulldogs defeated North Dakota State on the road last season before also earning a road victory over UC Riverside in December.
The Bulldogs then hit the road for a pair of marquee matchups, traveling to Grand Canyon on Nov. 13 before taking on Stanford in Palo Alto, Calif., on Nov. 15. Gonzaga is 2-0 all-time against Grand Canyon, with both previous meetings coming in Spokane.
Gonzaga returns to Spokane to host Montana on Nov. 18, renewing a regional series that dates back to 1981. The Bulldogs have taken control of the series in recent years, winning 12-straight meetings against the Lady Griz.
The Zags then head to Hawaii for two neutral-site contests on the North Shore, facing Hawaii on Nov. 21 and California on Nov. 23. Gonzaga's last trip to Hawaii was a successful one, as the Bulldogs went 3-0 to claim the 2021 Rainbow Wahine Showdown title. GU capped the tournament with a 68-49 victory over Hawaii, while Kaylynne Truong was named the tournament MVP and Melody Kempton earned All-Tournament Team honors.
GU closes the month of November with a short trip to Cheney to take on Eastern Washington on Nov. 29. The matchup continues one of the longest-running regional series on Gonzaga's schedule, with the Bulldogs having won 20-straight games against the Eagles.
December begins with a home matchup against Yale on Dec. 4 before the Bulldogs travel to Tempe, Ariz., to face Arizona State on Dec. 6. Gonzaga then returns home to host LMU on Dec. 10.
The Zags will head to Palm Desert, Calif., for one of the highlights of the non-conference slate, taking on Michigan State in the Acrisure Challenge on Dec. 19.
Gonzaga closes out the calendar year at home against South Dakota State on Dec. 30. The Bulldogs' most recent home matchup with the Jackrabbits resulted in an 83-58 Gonzaga victory in Spokane in 2023.
The non-conference slate concludes when Gonzaga welcomes St. Thomas to the McCarthey Athletic Center on Jan. 2.
Game times and television information will be released in the near future. Season tickets are available now at GoZags.com/tickets. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
