2016-17: Finished fifth with the varsity eight in the Western Sprints … defeated Washington State with the varsity eight in the Fawley Cup … finished fifth in the Kerr Cup Petite Final with the varsity eight … finished 11th with the varsity eight in the San Diego Crew Classic … won the fall’s Head of the Snake with the varsity eight … took seventh in the Head of the American with the varsity eight … defeated WSU at the Head of the Spokane … won Gonzaga’s Evening of Excellence Leadership Award.

2015-16: Started the year placing first in the varsity eight at the Head of the Spokane…took second in the varsity eight at the Portland Fall Classic…took second in the varsity eight in the Kerr Cup morning race…placed third in the varsity eight at the Western Sprints.

2014-15: Defeated WSU in the varsity eight…placed third at the Head of the Spokane in the second varsity eight…also placed second in the second varsity eight at the Head of the Snake…placed first in the second varsity eight at the George Washington Invitational…and at the Western Sprints in the second varsity eight.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Brophy College Prep in Phoenix, Ariz.…competed in crew for three years…placed sixth at the US Rowing Nationals in the men’s quad.

MISC: Son of Connie Wilhelm and David Garcia…majoring in accounting, law and public policy with a minor in communications…wants to become a Governor.
