HIGH SCHOOL: Played volleyball at West High School for Jen Haney and Kristie Sain...earned second team All-Bay League her senior season and was named to the first team All-Bay League her junior year...was also a member of the soccer squad...two-time first team All-Bay League honoree in soccer.

Laura Day's Collegiate Career

FRESHMAN (2008): Played in 31 matches, including 114 sets...had double-digit digs in four contests...had a career-high 12 digs twice; at Washington State University (9/10) and at the University of San Francisco (10/4)...had a careeer-high three service aces against the University of Portland (11/22).

SOPHOMORE (2009): The defensive specialist played in 27 matches, including 101 sets...was third on the team in digs with 199 and second in digs per set at 1.97...also added 26 kills, 17 assists and six service aces...registered double-figure digs in five matches...had a career-high 18 digs, along with a career-high five kills versus Stephen F. Austin (9/12)...tallied 14 digs against the University of Portland (10/3).

JUNIOR (2010): Played in 30 matches, 102 sets...was second on the team in both digs (272) and service aces (18)...finished with 18 double-figure dig matches, including 11 in West Coast Conference play...registered two double-doubles on the season...tallied a career-high 12 kills and had 14 digs against the University of San Francisco, Oct. 7...tied a career-high with 12 kills and added 14 digs and a career-high five service aces at the University of Portland, Oct. 23...finished with a season-high 14 digs six times; USF, at Portland, versus Cal State Bakersfield, Aug. 28, against the University of Wyoming, Sept. 17, against Seattle University, Sept. 18 and against the University of San Diego, Oct. 30.
