Prior to Gonzaga
Dickson signed with the Zags less than a week after winning the Washington 2A state title in Cross Country. Dickson ran a time of 17:48.6 to capture the state championship, securing the first ever state victory for her high school. Dickson also captured second in the state championship in 2024, an impressive showing in what was her first full season in cross country.
Dickson set five separate school record times during her Track & Field career at Lynden. She set new records for the Lions in the 800, 1500, 1600 and 3200 meters, while also anchoring a school record 4 x 400 relay team. Dickson ran a 2:12.9 time in the 800 and was the first runner in Lynden history to break 5 minutes in the 1600 meters when she ran a 4:54.1 time at the 2A State Championships and the first runner in school history to break an 11 minute barrier in the 3200 meters, running a time of 10:39.1.
