Biography
HIGH SCHOOL: Won Nebraska State Class B title as a senior with 36-hole score of 137 after rounds of 68-69 to lead Sidney to team title...junior year finished sixth with 151 after rounds of 77-74, Sidney finishing fourth...sophomore campaign took fourth in State with 144 with rounds of 71-73 and Sidney finished second, missing team title by one stroke...won nine high school invitational tournaments for Sidney High, won the 2006 Big I State title and finished 13th in the National Big I Invitational... All-State selection in 2004-05 and the All-Region Player of the Year in 2004-05 after sharing the award in 2004 with Bowdy Ehler who would also attend Gonzaga.

FRESHMAN (2007-08): Participated in eight of Gonzaga University[apos]s nine tournaments...finished tied for 13th at the Santa Clara Invitational with a season-low 216, which also included his season-low round of 69...finished tied for 38th at the West Coast Conference Championship at 241.
SOPHOMORE (2008-09): Competed in all four fall tournaments with his best finish coming in a tie for 18th at Saint Mary[apos]s Invitational...started the spring season by tying for eighth at Bay Area Intercollegiate with 36-hole score of 151 which featured individual play and no team scores...tied for 19th with 54-hole score of 222 at Braveheart Classic hosted by UC Riverside and tied for 17th with 221 at Triumph at Pauma Valley tourney in San Diego...tied for fifth in West Coast Conference Championship with 71-68-75 for 214, the 68 a career low to tie for fifth on all-time Gonzaga list...tied with teammate Derek Cheney...the 214 was the best 54-hole individual score for the Bulldogs in the WCC Championship...helped Bulldogs shoot 873 in the WCC Championship to better GU[apos]s previous WCC Championship best of 903 set in 2003, and tied for the sixth-best 54-hole score in school history...joined Cheney as All-WCC selections, the inaugural picks in Gonzaga history.
JUNIOR (2009-10): Lost to former Bulldog teammate Brandon Crick 3 and 2 in the quarterfinals of the Nebraska Match Play Championship at Willow Lakes Golf Course in June...second match of season shot career-best 216 at Purple and Red Invitational hosted by Weber State University to finish tied for 10th after rounds of 70-72-74...came back with 220 at Wolf Pack Classic hosted by University of Nevada and a 217 at the Kauai Collegiate Invitational to end the fall season, a second-round 69 one stroke off his career best...began spring season at WSU Snowman Getaway but struggled with rounds of 78-81-77 and sat out next three matches with shoulder injury...returned to action at Wyoming Cowboy Classic in final regular-season, shooting 220 that including an opening-round 68 to match career best...tied for 17th at West Coast Conference Championship with a 230 to lead the Bulldogs... finished season with 74.6 stroke average to lead the team...one of two Bulldogs to earn men[apos]s All-America Scholar honors as selected by Cleveland Golf/Srixon and announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) with a 3.71 GPA in accounting.
SENIOR (2010-11): Broke the course record while winning the Nebraska Amateur Qualifier at Kearney[apos]s Meadowlark Hills Golf Course, shooting a 63 to lead the list of 21 qualifiers...finished tied for fifth at 292 at the 102nd Nebraska Amateur Championship golf tournament at the par 71, 6,750-yard Happy Hollow Club in Omaha...opened season strong with back-to-back scores of 223 at the Palouse Collegiate and the Husky Invitational, shooting a pair of 73s after an opening round 77 in the latter...came back with 222 at the Fighting Irish Grid Iron Classic hosted by the University of Notre Dame...220 at the Kauai Collegiate Invitational tied him for 10th...in final regular-season tournament equaled career best with 216 at Braveheart Classic to tie for fourth...second-round 69 one stroke off career best...shot 240 in West Coast Conference Championship...finished season with 75.6 stroke average.
Misc.: 3.98 grade point average and two-time All-State Academic team selection in 2004-05...is third player in as many years from Nebraska to join Bulldogs - Bowdy Ehler (senior in 2008) and Brandon Crick (sophomore in 2008 and then transferring) the others.
