Biography

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-time All-Oregon State Class 5A selection, placed in the Top 10 of the Oregon State Class 5A Championship for three years - third as a senior at 151 after rounds of 77-74 to finish three shots out of first; fifth as a junior at 145 after rounds of 72-73 to finish two strokes off the lead and tied for eighth as sophomore at 148 with rounds of 75-73...helped lead Wilsonville to a second-place finishes in 2009 and 2008, the latter four strokes out of the lead, after finishing fourth in 2007... had solid junior golf season in the summer of 2008, tying for second at the 11th Oregon Junior Stroke Play Championship at 214 with rounds of 72-69-73 at The OGA Course in Woodburn, Ore., four strokes behind the leader...tied for fourth at the Jacobsen Junior Challenge and Junior World Qualifier at Forest Hills Golf Course in Cornelius, Ore., shooting 75-64 for 139 as three golfers and two alternates were selected...tied for fifth at the 36th Boys Junior America[apos]s Cup held at Royal Oaks CC in Vancouver, Wash., shooting 220, eight strokes behind the leader...tied for ninth at the 2008 U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier at The OGA Course, shooting a 144, and tied for 18th at the 78th Oregon Junior Amateur at Bandon Dunes Golf Course in Bandon, Ore.

FRESHMAN (2009-10): Shot final-round 68 for a 54-hole score of 217 to finish in three-way tie for fifth at the 57th Oregon Stroke Play Championship in August...made collegiate debut in season opener at the Palouse Cougar Collegiate, shooting 54-hole score of 231...finished tied for 19th at the Purple and Red Invitational hosted by Weber State University with a 219 with rounds of 72-76-71...broke 70 for first time as collegiate with second-round 68 in Kauai Collegiate Invitational on way to a 219 to equal his career best...finished with 76.7 stroke average.

SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Opened season with career-best 217 at the Palouse Cougar Collegiate with rounds of 72-71-74...shot 219 at Brickyard Collegiate Championship in Macon, Ga., to lead the Bulldogs, an opening-round 69 one shot off career best...tied for fourth for highest individual finish in Gonzaga[apos]s West Coast Conference Men[apos]s Golf Championship history and tied the school record for the best 54-hole score in WCC Championship play with 214 in earning All-WCC first-team honors...finished one stroke out of third and two shots behind the medalists...had round of 73-69-72 to tie Derek Cheney and Kyle Huus who tied for fifth at 214 in 2009 WCC Championship...joined Cheney and Huus as only WCC first-team picks in team history...stroke average of 74.8 for second behind Peter Gullickson[apos]s 74.6.

Misc.: 3.6 high school GPA...qualified for National Honors Society and was Dairy Farmers All-Academic selection...International Science and Engineering Fair participant.
