Biography
2019-20: Coxed the JV8 and V4 during the fall season… helped the Bulldogs to first-place finish in the first regatta of the season, defeating Washington State at the Head of the Spokane with a time of 16:01…was part of the Zags’ fifth-place finish (out of 22 boats) at the Head of the American on Oct. 26, helping the JV8s complete the 5,000-meter course in 16:15.1…spring season shortened due to COVID-19.
2018-19: Recorded a win the varsity eight against Washington State at the Head of the Snake … finished third at the Head of the Snake with the V4A … recorded a win with the V4B at the Head of the Snake … took third with the varsity eight at the Head of the American … took fourth with the JV8 at the Head of the Lake … finished second at the UCSD Invite with the varsity eight … recorded a win with the varsity eight against Washington State at the Fawley Cup.
2017-18: Took third in the Western Sprints with the second varsity eight … took sixth at the Kerr Cup with the second varsity eight … finished third in the Husky Open with the second varsity eight … recorded a win with the second varsity eight in the Western Sprints Challenge … finished fourth in the fall’s Head of the Lake with the second varsity eight … won the fours race at the Head of the Spokane.
2016-17: Coxswain for the second varsity eight boat that finished third at the Western Sprints … defeated Washington State with the varsity eight in the Fawley Cup … finished fifth in the Kerr Cup Petite Final with the varsity eight … finished 11th with the varsity eight in the San Diego Crew Classic … took second ahead of UCSD in the novice eight boat in San Diego … won the fall’s Head of the Snake with the second varsity eight … took seventh in the Head of the American with the varsity eight.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, Calif…competed in soccer and crew…finished second in the lightweight 8+ at the US Rowing Youth Nationals…was on the honor roll with a 3.4 GPA.
MISC: Son of Joe and Ginny…has a brother, Alex, and sister, Dasha…majoring in business with the goal to work for a professional sports team…chose Gonzaga for the class sizes, his desired major, and the access to the outdoors…he can unicycle.
