Biography

2021-22: Helped Gonzaga’s Varsity and Junior Varsity 8 team finish first at the Head of the Snake… Aided in the Varsity 8 team’s first place finish at the Head of the Spokane race, where the team finished with a time of 15:39… Also participated in the San Diego Classic and Oregon State University, where he placed second with the Varsity 8 team… Throughout the season, Guest has been assisting the Varsity and Junior Varsity 8 teams from the No.3 rowing position…

2020-21: Rowed throughout season with the Varsity 8 team…Helped Gonzaga place second in the Varsity 8 race with a time of 6:08.46 in the Fawley Cup… Also performed against St. Joe’s and Drexel, earning times of 6:05.15 and 6:14.64, and at the Western Sprints, finishing with a time of 6:00.36…Competed at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Championships, where the Varsity 8 team finished 1st in the 5th Finals with a time of 06:34.672

2019-20: Raced with the 3V8s in the fall of 2019…part of the Zags’ first-place finish at the Head of the Spokane with a time of 16:27…helped the Bulldogs to a fifth-place finish at the Head of the Lake, completing the three-mile course in 17:31.147…also participated in the time trials against Washington State in the Head of the Snake…helped GU’s Novice 8 to a 19:16 finish in the first flight, followed by a 19:14 finish in the second flight… spring season shortened due to COVID-19.

High School: Graduated from Inglemoor High School in 2019…participated in both rowing and basketball during high school, rowing for a year while playing basketball all four years…was an International Baccalaureate Diploma Student, a Washington State Scholar Award winner and a Washington State Photography winner…carried a 3.6 GPA.

Personal: Son of Ryan and Julie Guest…has one brother, Nathan…is majoring in business with aspirations of becoming a small business owner…chose Gonzaga because “of the exceptional atmosphere, campus and community of people here!”
