Biography

2019-20: Rowed for the V8s during the fall season, helping the Bulldogs to two first-place finishes…kicked off the fall season with a 15:29 first-place finish at the Head of the Spokane…followed with a 15:52.81 first-place finish at the Head of the American on Oct. 26…helped the Zags to a third-place finish at the Head of the Lake on Nov. 3 with a 16:09.281 finish, beating out Washington State, San Diego, Seattle and Western Washington…spring season shortened due to COVID-19.

2018-19: Claimed a fourth place finish in the JV8 boat at the Head of the Lake…fell to Oregon State in the second varsity eight boat…claimed a first place victory in the second varsity eight boat at the UCSD Invite…defeated Washington State at the Fawley Cup in the second varsity eight…finished in fifth at the WIRA Championships in the second varsity eight…placed in third in the second varsity eight at the Western Sprints.

High School: Graduated in 2018 from St. Vincent De Paul High School in 2018…rowed for North Bay Rowing Club out of Petaluma, Calif…in his senior season, placed 13th overall in the country in the Lightweight 4.

Personal: Son of Marty and Nicole Kropelnicki…has two siblings, Alyssa and Matthew…majoring in business…chose Gonzaga because “I really liked the Jesuit style of education, so naturally I toured Gonzaga during my college search. When I stepped on campus, I just knew this was the school for me.”
