Senior (2025-26): Went 6-10 in doubles matches with partner Diego Herrera this season…Played on Court 3 in doubles. Went 0-1 in singles matches. Played singles on Court 6. WCC Men’s Tennis All-Academic Team… Had a five doubles match win streak this season, spanning 2/8 at Washington to 3/11 at ranked #63 UNLV. Played in UC Davis Aggie Invite, ITA Northwest Regionals Championships, and Gonzaga Fall Invite…
2024-25 (Junior): Went 1-1 in singles and 4-8 in doubles matches this year… played singles on court six and doubles on court three… Partnered primarily with Tom Dunlap and Diego Herrera…With Herrera gained a 6-4 Conference win against San Diego’s Nikhil Niranjan and Blake Kasday…Named to College Sports Communicators' 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men’s Tennis Team… Named to the WCC Men’s Tennis All-Academic Team with a GPA of 3.70.
2023-24 (Sophomore): Was limited this season due to injury… Maintained a singles record of 5-7 and doubles record of 4-19 this year… Earned his first collegiate conference singles victory during the fall tournament season… Played one dual singles match this year… Was primarily paired with Tom Dunlop, Oscar Rashed, and Oliver Andersson on court three this season… Earned a conference doubles win with Andersson over San Francisco… Also had two tournament double victories this year…
2022-23 (Freshman): Maintained the second-highest doubles winning percentage on the team, with a 75.0 percent winning percentage and a 3-1 overall doubles record… Performed on court three for doubles this season… Earned the first singles win of his career during the fall tournament season
PERSONAL
During high school, Krauel was ranked number one in the state and ranked number one in the Pacific Northwest. Off the court, he was earned a 3.9 cumulative GPA and was part of National Honors Society for academics. He has a long family history with Gonzaga University and is the 20th family member to attend GU, but is the first one to play tennis. His parents are Toby Krauel and Kelly Fox. He also has two siblings, one sister Katy Krauel, and one brother Jack Krauel.
