Peter Clark is in his sixth year as the women's basketball athletic trainer at Gonzaga University.

Along with women's basketball, his primary sport responsibilities at Gonzaga are men's tennis and cross country and track.

Clark came to the Bulldogs from Whitworth College where he received his B.A. in athletic training as well as a B.A. in health, fitness and physical education. The local product of Mead High School worked with the baseball and men's basketball team as a primary athletic training student for the Pirates. He was also an athletic training student for the U.S. Figure Skating Championship in Spokane in 2007.

Clark was a football standout at Whitworth from 2004-07. Whitworth won the Northwest Conference Championship in both 2006 and 2007 with perfect 6-0 records both seasons. Whitworth defeated Occidental College in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Tournament before falling to St. John's in the second round. Both games Whitworth hosted. He earned All-NWC honors 2005, 2006 and 2007.

He received his Master's in organizational leadership from Gonzaga in December of 2011 and is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).

Peter married the former Michelle Elliott in 2011. The couple welcomed their first child, Winston, in May, 2014.
