Shannon Donegan enters her fourth season as the director of operations for the Gonzaga women's basketball program in 2026-27.
Donegan returned to Gonzaga in 2023 after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at The College of New Jersey. She joined the Lions in 2021-22 following coaching and operations stops at Eastern Washington, Gonzaga and Saint Mary's.
Prior to TCNJ, Donegan served as an assistant coach at Eastern Washington for one season after spending three seasons at Gonzaga as the director of operations.
During her first stint at Gonzaga, Donegan helped the Bulldogs to an 84-14 overall record, two NCAA Tournament appearances and three West Coast Conference regular-season championships. The Bulldogs also produced 13 All-WCC Team honorees during that span, including two WCC Player of the Year recipients.
Before joining Gonzaga, Donegan spent four seasons at Saint Mary's College of California, serving as the director of women's basketball operations and video coordinator.
Donegan began her coaching career in 2011 at Germantown Friends School in Philadelphia, Pa., as the girls' varsity coach, helping improve the team's league record from 6-12 to 11-6.
She earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training from Temple University in May 2012 before earning her master's degree in sport management from the University of San Francisco in May 2015.
