SENIOR (2019-20): Game-by-game statistics...Played and started in all 31 games…scored a career-high 19 points at Saint Mary’s…led the team in assists with 150 on the season to average 4.8 per game…moved into fourth all-time in career assists against Portland on March 9…17 games with five or more assists…dished out a season-high nine assists against CSU-Bakersfield…recorded a career-high eight steals at Loyola Marymount…shot 44.6 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from beyond the arc…her 150 assists rank ninth in assists in a single season...68 steals ranks 10th in a single season...named All-WCC Honorable Mention.
JUNIOR (2018-19): Game-by-game statistics...Played in 32 games, starting in 12…scored a season-high 13 points against San Diego…dished out at least five or more assists 13 times…recorded a career-high 10 assists at Portland on Feb. 9…had a season-high four steals against Santa Clara…first on the team with 132 assists…also ranked eighth in the WCC in assists per game with 4.1…second on the team with 27 made threes...71.4 percent free throw shooter...grabbed 57 rebounds...third on the team with 43 steals...scored 11 points at Oregon State in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament, added six assists and two steals...averaged 5.8 points per game.
SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Game-by-game statistics ... Played in all 33 games, starting in seven ... was second in the league and 56th in the nation with a 2.2 assist to turnover ratio ... second on team and ninth in league averaging 3.6 assists per game ... third on team and 11th in the WCC at 1.5 steals per game ... scored 6.2 points per game, tops among non-starters ... had five or more assists 10 times, best on the team ... scored in double figures six times ... had a career-high 15 points and nine assists against San Francisco ... had three or more steals six times ... made a career-high seven free throws in eight attempts to seal the game at Saint Mary's ... averaged 23.4 minutes per game, fourth on the team ... had a career-high five steals against Kent State in Las Vegas ... scored 12 points in the first half at Stanford in the NCAA Tournament.
FRESHMAN (2016-17): Game-by-game statistics ... Appeared in 30 games for Gonzaga, averaging 11.3 minutes per game ... averaged 2.4 points per game ... scored a career-high 11 points against Winthrop with three made three-pointers ... grabbed three rebounds four different times ... dished 47 assists, fourth on the team ... had 20 steals ... had two or more assists 13 times, including a career-high six against BYU ... shot 32.7 percent (17-of-52) from three ... made two threes at Portland and against Pepperdine and BYU.
HIGH SCHOOL: Had a phenomenal career at Moses Lake High School ... named the Columbia Basin Big Nine Offensive Player of the Year and co-Defensive Player of the Year ... her senior year she was named First Team All-State 4A, Tacoma Tribune First Team All-State, Seattle Times First Team All-State, and First Team All-State All-Tournament Team ... set a Moses Lake scoring record with 37 points in a game and a state tournament record with eight three-pointers in a game ... she was also named Preseason First Team All-State, AP All-State Girls First Team All-Conference, and selected to the Inland Northwest All-USA Senior Team and the Washington State GBCA Senior All-State Team ... her junior year she helped the Chiefs finish fifth in the Class 4A State Tournament for the second season in a row, averaging 16.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.6 steals per game ... for her efforts, she was named state All-Tournament Second Team, Seattle Times All-State Second Team and Associated Press All-State Honorable Mention ... after averaging 7.5 points per game her freshman season, Loera scored 12.9 a contest in 2013-14 as a sophomore ... over her four-year career at Moses Lake, she has amassed 1334 points ... the daughter of Javier and Lori Loera has career averages of 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 3.9 steals per outing ... Loera picked GU over Washington State, Washington, Vanderbilt and Army West Point … she was the conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2013 and 2014, along with Player of the Year on offense in 2014 ... she was also selected to the All-State Tournament team in 2014 ... as a member of the Spokane Stars club team, Loera was named the tournament MVP at the prestigious End of the Oregon Trail Tournament ... named a Distinguished Scholar, was on the school's Honor Roll, and was a member of National Honor Society and won the Outstanding Scholastic Award ... she was a member of the Key Club and an Outstanding Top 20 Moses Lake Senior ... she was a standout on the Chiefs' soccer team, being named First Team All-Conference on defense in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
MISC: Daughter of Javier and Lori ... has two sisters, Jordan and Jamie, and a brother, Josh ... sister Jordan played basketball at Oregon and Jamie plays at Arizona State ... Josh played at Big Bend Community College and her mother played basketball for Oregon ... goes by Jay on the court...lists her favorite movie as "Remember The Titans" ... chose Gonzaga for the academics, community, coaches, and teammates ... she loves graphic design and art ... her pregame ritual is to brush her teeth and to put a cross on her left wrist for her grandfather.
