Junior (2025-26): Started 34 of 34 games... Averaged 8.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and _2.2 assists in 23.7 minutes per game... Scored a season-high 17 points with 5 field goals made at Portland on Feb. 28... Played a season-high 35 minutes at Oregon State on Jan. 22... Recorded 2 three-pointers in 3 games... Grabbed a season-high 7 rebounds at Santa Clara on Jan. 4... Recorded 6 assists at Missouri State on Dec. 19... Shot  40.5% from the field and 32.6% from three-point range... Finished the season with 12 double-digit scoring games... Totaled 284 points, 90 rebounds, and 75 assists in 806 minutes played... Recorded 23 steals and 1 block... Shot 80.9% from the free-throw line. 

Zeryhia Aokuso | G | 5-10 | Amarillo, Texas | Saint Mary's/Amarillo High
During her freshman year at Saint Mary's, Aokuso was named the WCC Freshman of the Year and was selected to the All-WCC Second Team. Overall, she has started in 45 games for the Gaels and has averaged 10.9 points a game her first two years. During her sophomore season, she averaged 25 minutes a game and had a season-high performance of 21 points against San Diego.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Was twice named All-Third District at Amarillo High... Named MVP in 2023... Part of teams that were District champs all three years she was on varsity... Advanced to Geico Championship.

Lisa Fortier on Aokuso: Zeryhia is a proven and versatile player who has been an opponents nightmare since she stepped on the floor for the first time as a freshman. Her size and skill set make her a challenge to guard, and her mid-range jumper is one of the best I've seen. She is a great passer, and will bring very valuable experience to our team this year.
