Biography

2015-16: Ended career with 50 singles wins and 59 doubles victories…earned second consecutive WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention award. Singles: 7-2 overall…went 2-1 at Cougar Classic Sept. 11-13 with wins over Stanzi Stuijt of Montana and Linda Vink of Montana State…reached final of C Singles bracket at Saint Mary’s Fall Invite Oct. 9-11 with three wins, including a 6-0, 6-0 sweep of Portland’s Marina Reimers…reached White Flight final at Bulldog Invitational Nov. 6-8 with two three-set wins. Doubles: 19-9 overall, 12-5 in dual play…paired with Domonique Garley for second-most doubles wins in WCC…reached doubles final of Bulldog Invitational Nov. 6-8….won four of first five dual matches of the year, including 6-0 sweep of Seattle U’s team of Kwee and James…6-3 in WCC action, including four straight wins April 3-16…posted 6-1 win over No. 9 Pepperdine’s Wierda/Eneridis April 9 to help clinch doubles point.

2014-15: Tied Gonzaga single season record with 19 doubles wins...earned Academic All-WCC Honorable Mention. Singles: went 18-16 overall and 12-6 record in duals...swept Santa Clara's Riley Morgan 6-0, 6-0 April 18...beat #55 UC Irvine's Andrea Duva in straight sets March 12...took down Nastia Vasyukhina of Washington State 6-1, 6-2 Feb. 28...started dual season 4-0...undefeated in GU Fall Hidden Dual. Doubles: posted 19-13 in doubles play, including 11-7 mark in duals...teamed with Kylie Peek for dual doubles...beat #48 Portland's duo of Troesch/Gould 6-0 April 4...beat Duva/Watrous to clinch doubles point in GU win at No. 55 UC Irvine March 12...went 4-0 in first five duals of the season...teamed with Alex Bourguignon to go 4-0 at GU Fall Hidden Dual Nov. 7-9.

2013-14: Singles: Went 12-8 overall in singles as a sophomore...started year by going 8-4 in fall tournaments...won Maroon Flight consolation bracket at UM Gopher Invite Sept. 20-22...reached finals of Blue Flight consolation at SMC Invitational Oct. 11-13. Doubles: Tallied 8-10 overall record, going 5-5 in dual play...went 4-4 in No. 2 doubles...played most often with Melanie Yates with the pair tallying a 3-2 record in the middle doubles spot.

2012-13: Singles: Went 10-4 individually in dual play during freshman year...went 8-1 at No. 6 singles for the Zags...tallied wins over Lena Macomson of Oregon, Mary Meyers of Air Force, and Mikayla Morkeil-Brink of No. 45 San Diego. Doubles: Battled to 8-9 overall record...played solely in No. 3 doubles position...teamed with Alexandra Tallas most often, going 6-7 with the sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ranked 266th in the Der Deutsche Tennis Bund, Germany's tennis federation rankings...Ranked Top 5 in her age group in Westphalia in 2010...Named DTB Player of the Year in 2009....individually has earned 15 German singles championships since 2002. 2011 semifinalist at the Parkhaus Nachwuchs-Cup...Helped her TC BW Soest club team reach the State Championships.

PERSONAL: Full name Franziska Louise Koehler, but goes by Sissi...parents are Gisela and Paul...has two older siblings: Bastian and Johanna...pyschology major with a minor in sport management...career goal is to be a sport psychologist for professional athletes...favorite sport (after tennis) is soccer.
