2019: Saw action in 64 sets on the season…recorded a season-high 10 kills against San Francisco on Nov. 14…added 19.0 blocks on the season and 12 digs…hit over .300 nine times on the year with a .500 hitting percentage four times on the season.

2018: Redshirted.

2017: Played in 23 matches, starting twice...79 kills and 27 blocks as a freshman...started first career match Aug. 25 versus Illinois, tallying two kills...five kills and a block in five-set win against Arizona Sept. 1...three blocks, three kills Sept. 9 versus Fordham...nine kills at Santa Clara Sept. 28...career highs with 15 kills, five blocks, five digs, and a .448 attack percentage Oct. 21 at Portland...seven kills on a .429 mark at Pepperdine Nov. 4.

Atwater High School: Played volleyball all four years at Atwater...named to Merced Sun Star's All-Area team and received All-Conference accolades as a junior and senior...also a four-time Conference All-Academic Award honoree...in addition to volleyball, swam for two years and ran track and field for one as a sprinter in both.

Club Experience: Played club ball with Pacific Coast Volleyball Club out of Stockton, Calif.

Personal: Full name is Abigail Knapp, but goes by Abby...parents are Danielle and Don...has a brother named Trevor...undecided on a college major but hopes to work with children in education or therapy after graduation...chose Gonzaga because "it was unlike any other school. Many people that are involved with this university have said that it is of a nature that is "unique" or "special". I became conscious of this essence as soon as I stepped foot on campus and have continued to stay aware of it ever since that day. Gonzaga athletics treats their athletes as people rather than a business deal, and that was extremely impactful when I made my official commitment. I feel nothing but blessed in that they have chosen to add me into their volleyball program,"...despite her height, never player played basketball.
