Gonzaga University Athletics

Hannah Barrett joined the Gonzaga volleyball staff as in August 2019. She is currently acting as Volunteer Assistant, and she is responsible for coordinating travel and working with DataVolley metrics.

Barrett arrives at Gonzaga following a stellar four-year volleyball career at Cal State San Bernardino. The Highland, Calif., native was integral in the Coyotes’ success, leading CSUSB to three-straight conference championships, a regional championship and an Elite Eight appearance. Barrett was a setter and defensive specialist for CSUSB, recording career-highs of 31 assists and 22 digs over the course of her career, and she acted as team captain during her senior season in 2018.

Barrett was also active outside of volleyball, acting as the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) president from 2017-19 and treasurer in 2016. In addition, Barrett coached both boys and girls at Citrus Valley High School throughout her college career as well as multiple club teams, and she also worked as a student assistant in the CSUSB box office from 2017-19.

Currently, Barrett is pursuing her Master’s degree in sport and athletic administration from Gonzaga, and she is set to graduate in 2021.
