MOSCOW, Idaho - Gonzaga University'smen's tennis team split a pair of 4-3 decisions at the University of Idaho Sunday in a unique doubleheader.
Gonzaga got 8-6 doubles victories from the No. 1 team of Eduardo Kohlberg-Joel Wilkie and the No. 2 combination of Burak Berksoy-Joe Zavaglia for the second-match victory.
Idaho captured the day's first match when the No. 1 doubles team of Amod Wakalkar-Brock Berry topped Berksoy-Zavaglia 8-2 and the No. 3 tandem of Fredrik von Sydow-Stephen De Silva topped Shaun Whitney-Brain McConnell 8-3. Gonzaga's No. 2 team of Kohlberg-Wilkie won to push the outcome to the No. 3 doubles match.
The Bulldogs (7-11) will conclude their season this Friday through Sunday at the West Coast Conference Championships hosted by Pepperdine University.
