Weber State Edges Women's Tennis 5-2

LOGAN, Utah - Weber State defeated the Gonzaga University women's tennis team 5-2 winning No.2 through 6 singles to claim the match.
Gonzaga earned the doubles point as Jamie Buterbugh and Sirrah Williams defeated Maria Bublik and Alexandria Ilie 8-5 in the first set while Kendall Bates and Katie Rock downed Briana Beauchene and Chelsee Drewsand 8-2 at No. 2.
Buterbaugh defeated WSU's Maria Bublik 6-7,6-1,6-2 to claim the Bulldogs lone singles point of the match.
Gonzaga travels to the University of Montana Saturday before hosting the Eastern Washington Eagles Monday, April 7, at 3 p.m. at the Martin Tennis Courts.
