SPOKANE, Wash - The Bulldog Classic didn't end like the Gonzaga University men's tennis team had hoped as freshman Cooper Fratt had his hot streak come to an end as he was defeated in the championship match by Lewis-Clark State College's Ari Zaslow 7-5, 6-4.

In the quarterfinals the Gonzaga Cooper connection split their matches with Fratt defeating his opponent Andy Erickson of Eastern Washington University in straight sets 6-1, 6-0.

The other half of the Cooper Connection Bryce Cooper didn't fare as well as he was defeated by Zaslow 7-6, 3-0, ret.

The Bulldogs will be back in action Friday through Sunday as they travel to Missoula Mont. to compete in the Montana Tournament hosted by the University of Montana.
