Gonzaga University Licensing ABOUT GONZAGA UNIVERSITY TRADEMARKS AND LICENSING PROGRAM Gonzaga University was founded in 1887 based on a model aimed to educate the whole person. As a nationally recognized University, it is imperative to be consistent with the use of all marks, verbiage, and logo in relation to the University with integrity. The Trademark and Licensing department exists to protect the brand and integrity of Gonzaga University. The departments mission is to ensure that product can be identified with and trust the quality bearing an official Gonzaga University mark. To do so, the Trademark and Licensing Department works to: - PROTECT Gonzaga University's image and reputation through appropriate and legal use of the University's trademarks and other intellectual property.
