Men's Tennis Defeated By Montana

MISSOULA, Mont. - The University of Montana men's tennis team swept the doubles point and won five-of-six singles matches on their way to a 6-1 win over the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Saturday at the Lindsay Tennis Center in Missoula, Mont. WIth the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 4-13 on the season.
Sophomore Bryce Cooper won the only point for Gonzaga at the No. 1 with a 3-6, 7-6, 7-6 victory over Jan Steenekamp. Montana then captured wins in the remaining singles matches.
Doubles play was also swept by the Griz as all three Bulldog doubles teams were defeated.
Gonzaga next takes on University of Nevada on Sunday, March 21 at 10 a.m. in Missoula, Mont.
