Portland Downs Zags 7-0

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team was defeated by West Coast Conference rival University of Portland 7-0 in straight sets at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Bulldogs fall to 1-6 on the season and 0-1 in the WCC.

The Pilots took all three doubles matches with Gonzaga's Cooper Fratt and Robert Penney coming closest to a win in the No. 3 doubles, falling 8-4 to Joshua Roach and Colby Jager.

The Bulldog men face the University of Montana on Friday at Eastern Washington University for a 4 p.m. duel match.
