Montana Invitational Cancelled

MISSOULA, Mont. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team will have to wait a week before making its 2005-06 season debut as the University of Montana Fall Invitational tennis tournament has been cancelled due to rain.

The weekend tournament, which would have featured players from Eastern Washington University, Gonzaga, University of Idaho, Montana and Montana State University-Billings, was UM's only scheduled fall competition at Lindsay Tennis Center in Missoula, Mont.

The Bulldogs will make their season debut on Friday as they will co-host the Gonzaga/Eastern Washington Tournament in Cheney, Wash.
