Zags Drop First Round Match At WCC Tennis Championships

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team dropped its West Coast Conference Championship first round match 4-0 to top-seeded Pepperdine University held at the Barnes Tennis Center Friday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (7-13) dropped the No.1 and No. 2 doubles matches before the No. 22 ranked Waves posted three singles wins to earn the first round victory.
Gonzaga will now face Loyola Marymount University 8 a.m. Saturday. The Lions lost a 4-1 decision to the University of San Francisco Friday.
