ABOUT THE MEET
- The UW Invitational will once again assemble excellent fields of collegiate talent plus many of the nation's elite professionals, with several U.S. Olympians scheduled to compete this weekend.
- A few of the schools sending groups to the Dempsey include Oregon, Arizona, Washington State, BYU, Utah, Boise State, Oregon State, Portland, Fresno State, and Gonzaga.
- The Dempsey indoor facility is a 307-meter Mondo track with a six lane straightaway, and a five-lane oval.
- The first several hours of action on Friday will center around the multis, with the men's heptathlon starting at 1 p.m. and the women's pentathlon at 1:30 p.m.
- The first non-multi events will get going at 4:30 p.m. with the women's 3,000 meters.

WHERE WE RANK REGIONALLY
- Troy Fraley ranks third in the nation in the 3,000 meters currently, and Jake Perrin is 53rd.
- Fraley's time of 8:00.54 at the UW Preview tops the West Region.
- Perrin (8:17.25) is eighth in the region in the 3,000 meters.
- Kinsly Smith's 1:54.85 800-meter time at the UW Preview ranks fifth in the region.
- Jerry Sicalo is sixth in the region in the mile at 4:14.83.
