
Everly, Homedes Dualde Open Boise State Tournament with Wins

BOISE, Idaho-Two Gonzaga men's tennis players began play at the Dar Walters Fall Classic Thursday night, and both picked up wins as Kyle Everly and Simon Homedes Dualde advanced to the Round of 64 at the Boise State hosted tournament.
Everly was perfect in his match against Garner Sears of Eastern Washington, winning all 12 games. He will face Bradley Gleason of Abilene Christian in the next round in a match scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6.
Homedes Dualde, meanwhile, downed Idaho foe Peter Shin 6-4, 6-1. The Zag sophomore will next take on Idaho State's Keegan Sullivan at 11:00 a.m. Friday in a Round of 64 showdown.
The other six members of the Gonzaga men's tennis team will begin the Dar Walters Fall Classic Friday as well. The first doubles matches of the day will begin at 8:30 a.m., again in Boise.
