2019-20 (Senior): ITA Scholar Athlete…WCC All-Academic Singles: 8-9 overall on the year with a 2-2 record in dual play before the season was shortened due to COVID-19…opened the fall season with a 6-3, 6-7 (6-8), 6-2 victory over EWU’s Manuel Balce…collected a victory at the ITA Northwest Regionals, defeating Hermont Legaspi of Sacramento State in straight sets in consolation play…in duals action, finished the season with back-to-back victories, defeating Montana’s Cameron Isbell and Emilio Monroy of Seattle, both in straight sets. Doubles: Posted a 7-10 overall record with a 1-5 mark in duals action…most often paired with Eric Hadigian, posting a 4-2 record to open the fall season…paired with Theo McDonald to defeat San Diego State’s Scemanenco/Roensdorf 8-4 at the Larry Easley Memorial Classic…paired with Hunter Egger for a dual match victory over Eastern Washington’s Doumen and Grimes, 6-3.

2018-2019 (Junior): WCC All-Academic Team…ITA Scholar-Athlete. Singles: 17-11 on the year, with  a 13-8 record in duals and 3-4 in the WCC…finished with two wins at the Dar Walters Classic with a 7-5, 6-0 win over Whitman’s Matthew Biggi and a 8-2 win over Tommy Edwards of Portland State…left the Gonzaga Invitational with two wins, a 6-0, 6-1 win over Eastern Washington’s Garner Sears and defeat of Montana’s Finn Anderson 6-1, 6-2…began the spring season on a five-match win streak…started streak off with 7-5, 6-2 win over Montana’s Pontus Hallgren... Won two matches on the road at Santa Clara against Vasileios Iliopoulos 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 and at UC Davis over Chethan Swanson, 3-6, 6-2, 7-6…last three matches of the season went unfinished at the No. 3 spot. Doubles: 14-17 overall…paired primarily with Hunter Egger for a record of 11-9….began the season with a 6-2 win over Portland State alongside Matthew Perkins at the Dar Walters Classic at Boise State…along with Egger, the duo defeated Philip Hjorth and Akram El Sallaly of Pacific at the ITA Northwest Regionals…Began the spring season with four straight wins with Egger…claimed two 6-4 wins over Seattle U in a doubleheader….won first WCC match with Egger against  Phuc Huynh and Ryan Marker of San Francisco 6-2…closed out the regular conference season with a 6-2 win over Portland’s Issa Yoshida and Leo Hibi.

2017-18 (Sophomore): ITA Scholar Athlete…WCC All-Academic. Singles: Finished with a 17-13 overall record including a 10-5 duals mark…finished 5-1 at No. 6 singles and 4-2 at No. 5…advanced to the round of 32 at the Dar Walters Fall Classic, defeating Garner Sears of Eastern Washington 6-0, 6-2 in the round of 128 followed by a 6-2, 6-4 win over Brad Gleason of Abilene Christian…opened the spring season with five-straight wins, including a three-set tiebreaker over Gary Ho of Whitman (5-7, 6-1, 10-8) on Jan. 20…finished 4-1 in WCC play…was one of two wins for the Bulldogs against San Diego on March 11, posting a three-set victory over Garrett Kurtz at No. 6 (3-6, 7-6(10-5), 1-0(10-7))…defeated Alan Sou of Yale in straight sets on March 17 (6-4, 7-5)…finished the season with a win against Mikayel Khachatryan of Pacific , 7-6(3), 6-3, and led Saint Mary’s Daniel Krutik 6-1, 6-6 when the Bulldogs clinched the match. Doubles: Posted a 12-16 overall record in doubles play with a 6-7 duals mark…paired with Vincent Rettke for all but one match on the season…after starting the fall slate 2-5, went 9-1 over the next 10 matches including six-straight matches from Oct. 27-Jan. 20…put the Bulldogs in position to clinch the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Idaho’s Lucas Coutinho and Guilherme Scarpelli on No. 2 doubles…finished 1-5 in WCC play…was GU’s lone doubles victory at San Diego with a 6-1 rout of USD’s Garrett Kurtz and Pratt Keerasuntonpon…earned a decisive 6-1 victory at UC Irvine on March 15, defeating Mason Hansen and Daniel Gealer at No. 1 doubles.

2016-17 (Freshman): Singles: 15-17 overall in singles play, 4-9 in dual play...11-8 in fall tournaments, including bracket title at first career tournament, EWU Fall Classic Sept. 16-18...two wins over WCC foes to reach consolation semifinal at Aggie Invite Sept. 30-Oct. 2...downed Idaho's Lucas Coutinho in three sets during Bulldog Classic Oct. 28-30...ended Duck Invitational Nov. 11-13 with three straight wins for consolation bracket title, beating two Portland foes in the process...earned first career dual win Jan. 28 with three-setter versus Eastern Washington...back-to-back wins versus Radford and Air Force April 9-10...claimed WCC victory March 25 with two-set win at Sana Francisco. Doubles: 11-14 overall, 8-9 in dual play...won first career pairs match 8-3 with Emilio Moreno over Bendjelti/Raveau of Eastern Washington Sept. 16...with Vincent Rettke, reached Round of 32 at USTA/ITA Northwest Regionals Oct. 14...first dual win came over EWU's Almeida/Pereira Jan. 28...with Rettke, also beat Coutinho/Santibanez of Idaho 7-6 Feb. 4...3-6 in WCC play with wins coming at No. 2 singles against Santa Clara, BYU, and Saint Mary's.

Acalanes High School: Played at Acalanes all four years…played No. 1 singles as a junior and a senior…second-place finisher in league as a junior and a senior; second place in North Coast Section singles tournament as a senior…helped lead the Dons to second place and CIF Northern California semifinals as a junior and senior…team captain final two years...Acalanes’ Most Outstanding Male Senior Athlete in 2015-16…National Merit Commended Scholar…named school scholar-athlete and a lifetime member of California Scholarship Federation.


Other Experience: Top 30 Northern California junior player…received 2014 USTA Northern California Sportsmanship Award…reached semifinals of the Johnson Ranch Junior Singles Championships February 2016 and finals of the Cupertino 18s Junior Age Up Championships December 2015...won doubles bracket at the Fremont 18s Junior Ages Up Championships in July 2015.


Personal: Son of Suzanne and Steve…has a younger brother named Ryan…majoring in business administration…chose Gonzaga because “the academic and athletic environments are top-notch and the college community is excellent. It is a great fit for all of my interests.”…is an Eagle Scout...also has played the bassoon for over seven years.
