PAT TYSON'S OUTLOOK
Zag men track team are coming off their all-time greatest one day competitive individual efforts in Gonzaga history! Last Friday night's showing at UCLA'S Drake Stadium was totally amazing. In particular, Troy Farley's school record 8:45.14 was stunning. Our goal at the WAR X is to mix up our racing a bit to give the guys some variety, and a little bit of more speed for some and a little more strength for others. We have another fantastic opportunity to run fast next week in Sothern California at the MT. SAC and Bryan Clay meets, so we are using the WAR to simulate certain aspects of our racing needed in California. With a few of our runners having flu symptoms this week, it is nice to be home to get healthy and gain some confidence to continue doing what we did last week at UCLA.
PATTY LEY'S OUTLOOK
We are really looking forward to the meet. We saw some really good progress from our ladies who competed at UCLA last weekend and we're excited to see that from everyone else. Just a touch warmer temperatures will really help as well. It isn't as large a meet as last year, but competitive and a great chance to test and to race!
