Women’s Golf Wraps Fall Slate at Florida International

The 41st Pat Bradley Invite runs Oct. 21-23 at Lakewood Ranch G&CC
SPOKANE, Wash. — The Gonzaga women's golf team wraps up their fourth and final tournament of the fall season at the 41st Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by Florida International at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
THE TOURNAMENT:
- This year will be the first time GU has played in the Pat Bradley Invitational.
- Players will hit the course with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. ET/5 a.m. PT each of the first two days followed by a shotgun start third round at 8:30 a.m. ET/5:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday on the Par-72, 6,288-yard Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.
- The 54-hole, three-day event features 15 teams.
LAST TIME OUT:
- Gonzaga freshman Quynn Duong continued her streak at the top of the GU lineup, posting the team's best score in all three tournaments this fall after a third-place finish at last week's Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational. She posted a pair of rounds under par with a 69 (-3) in the second round and a 71 (-1) in the third round.
- Francesca Santoni also shot a final round 71 (-1) to move up and take 12th in the tournament.
- GU finished in 14th as a team for the tournament.
FRESHMAN SHINES
- Freshman Quynn Duong has posted GU's top individual finishes in each of its first three tournaments, cracking the top 20 each time and posting a pair of top-three finishes.
- She took second at the Battle at Old Works, 20th at the Coeur d'Alene Invitational and third at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational.
SCHEDULE:
- GU hosted the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational for the second straight year.
- The Zags are playing in three tournaments they entered last season, the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational, the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, and The Gold Rush.
- New tournaments for the Bulldogs this year include, the Battle at Old Works (earlier this fall), 41st Pat Bradley Invitational, Battle at the Rock, Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, and the Red Rocks Invitational.
- Gonzaga has previously played in every event except the Pat Bradley Invitational and Battle at the Rock.
