MONUMENT, Colo. -- Gonzaga forward Corey Kispert was named a member of a combination of 10 NCAA Div. I basketball players that will embark on a 14-day competitive tour of the Czech Republic and Spain.

The team will conduct a training camp at Baylor University May 21-24, and depart the United States on May 25 to Prague, Czech Republic. The AIA team will play two games versus the under-20 Czech National Team on May 27 and 28.

On May 29, the team will fly to Madrid, Spain. The AIA team will play three games against professional teams on May 30, June 1 and June 2. The team returns to the United States on June 3.

Kispert appeared in 35 games for the Zags' during his freshman season in 2017-18. He averaged 6.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. The Edmonds, Wash. native scored a career-high 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds at Portland. He made 46 percent of his shots from the field this past season, including 63 percent from inside-the-arc.

The goals of this tour are to provide a rich cross-cultural experience for each team member, an opportunity to compete internationally, and for team members to grow in their personal faith.

Baylor assistant coach Bill Peterson, who spent seven years serving in the NBA as a coach for the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks, is coaching the team.
