GU looks to get back to winning ways on the road
No. 38 Gonzaga (6-5) at UCSB (5-5)

- Gonzaga's match at UCSB is a reschedule of the weather-postponed contest originally set for Feb. 3.
- UCSB is 5-5 on the season and will be GU's final non-conference match of the regular season.
- The Zags are coming off three straight road loss at Top-40 opponents in Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Wichita State.
- The match at UCSB is the fourth of six consecutive matches on the road.
- Gonzaga is back up to No. 38 this week, equaling the all-time high set two weeks ago -- GU had dropped to No. 39 last week.
- Whittle moved from No. 4 to No. 7 in the latest ITA rankings released. She is 21-7 on the year and 8-3 against ranked opponents.
- In singles, Vlada Medvedcova, who plays the No. 5 spot, is 8-3 on the year overall, while Domonique Garley, who plays No. 3, is 11-5 overall.
- The 25th-ranked GU doubles tandem of Whittle and Graciela Rosas remained a perfect 13-0 on the season, and is now 3-0 against ranked opponents.
- Rosas and Whittle were named the WCC Doubles Team of the Week earlier this season
- Whittle was named the WCC Singles Player of the Week for her dominant win at the No. 1 spot against Santa Clara earlier this season.
- Head coach D.J. Gurule is in his 15th season at the helm of the Gonzaga women's tennis program.
