Gonzaga Athletics hired Zeb Klemke as its new Business Operations Manager on Feb. 18, 2020.

"I'm thrilled to be joining the Athletic Department family here at Gonzaga," Klemke said. "Growing up in the Spokane area, I've always been drawn to Gonzaga as a fan. It's a unique place to have experienced such growth while maintaining its core values and even strengthening them. I look forward to learning as much as I can to become an asset to each coach, team, and administrator."

Klemke joins the Athletic Department from GU's Controller's Office where he was the Travel, Expense, Invoice Systems & Credit Card Administrator. In his role, Klemke was part of a small group that was responsible for the configuration and administration of Concur and its modules for the University.

Prior to his time at Gonzaga, Klemke was the Athletics Business Manager at Eastern Washington University, where he served as the department travel coordinator for 14 athletic sports teams and over 50 athletic department employees, including creation of all advance requests, trip reconciliation, and macro-level expense reporting. He also oversaw the implementation of the Concur Travel Management System from a previous paper-based system.

Klemke is a 2017 graduate of Eastern Washington and is currently working on his Master's in Business Administration from EWU with anticipated completion in Spring 2020.
