SAN MATEO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced its Men's Soccer All-Academic Team for the 2022 season and sophomore
Angelo Calfo was named to the first team. Six Zags were tabbed honorable mention. This year's 11-member first team encompasses WCC student-athletes who excelled both on the pitch and in the classroom.
Calfo started in 12 games this year for Gonzaga. He scored one goal and took two shots on the season.

Devin Slingsby,
Chris Swider and
Wylie Trujillo were the six Zags named to the honorable mention team for GU.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team and in at least their second year at their school.
