THE TIPOFF
- The Gonzaga women's basketball continues its homestand against UC Davis this Sunday, Dec. 11, with a 2 p.m. tipoff. The game will be on the WCC Network and on the radio, 94.1 FM or 790 AM.
- GU is coming off a gritty 73-49 win against Queens on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Yvonne Ejim led the way with a career-high 32 points, which was the first time a Zag scored at least 30 points since Jill Barta on Dec. 2, 2017. Brynna Maxwell was the other Bulldog to score in double figures with 16 and went 4-for-7 from the three-point line as only seven Zags were available to suit up for the second-straight game.
- The Zags have four players currently averaging double digits in the first seven games of the season, including Yvonne Ejim (17.7), Kaylynne Truong (13.6), Brynna Maxwell (13.9), and Eliza Hollingsworth (10.4).
- The Bulldogs are currently shooting at a program record 83.1 percent from the free throw line, which also ranks second in the country and first in the West Coast Conference.
