SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga student-athletes combined to post a department 3.46 grade-point average for the Spring 2022 semester, tying for the third-best output all-time. It was the 13^th consecutive semester with a Departmental GPA above a 3.30 The GU women's tennis team led the way with a 3.81 GPA.
 
Ninety student-athletes earned President's List Honors (3.85 semester GPA or higher) and 102 earned Dean's List Honors (3.5-3.84 semester GPA), for 192 total honorees out of the 325 student-athletes (59 percent) earning a 3.5 or higher GPA. A record 51 student-athletes boasted perfect 4.0 GPA's for the semester.
 
The women's tennis team was followed closely by men's tennis at 3.72, and then Women's Soccer with a 3.61.
 
Leading efforts also came from women's track and cross country, which had 16 President's List honorees and 12 more on the Dean's List, while posting a team 3.53 GPA. Women's rowing had 13 President's List honorees and 18 on the Dean's List. Baseball matched women's rowing with a department-high 18 student-athletes on the Dean's List.
