WCC Releases 2022-23 Conference Schedule

Zags start league slate at home versus Pepperdine on Dec. 31

SAN MATEO, Calif. - The West Coast Conference announced its 2022-23 men's basketball conference schedule Tuesday. The race for the WCC regular season crown will stretch over a nine-week span, featuring 16 conference games. Conference play is slated to begin on Dec. 31 and will conclude on Feb. 25.
 
Gonzaga has shared or outright won the WCC regular season title the past 10 seasons. The Bulldogs will look for the program's 26th conference title in 2022-23. GU has shared or won 21 conference championships in the last 22 years, and 23 out of the last 25 years.
 
The Zags open West Coast Conference play against Pepperdine on Dec. 31. The Bulldogs then begin a three-game road swing starting at San Francisco and Santa Clara on Jan. 5 and 7. GU visits BYU on Jan. 12. Gonzaga hosts Portland (Jan. 14) and Loyola Marymount (Jan. 19), before traveling to Pacific (Jan. 21) and Portland (Jan. 28).
 
Gonzaga opens the second half of conference play and the month of February versus Santa Clara in Spokane on Feb. 2. The Bulldogs head to Saint Mary's on Feb. 4, before hosting San Francisco and BYU on Feb. 9 and 11.
 
The Zags are in the Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine on Feb. 16 and 18. GU closes league play at home against San Diego (Feb. 23) and Saint Mary's (Feb. 25).
 
The West Coast Conference Championships will follow March 2-7 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
 
Gonzaga's non-conference schedule, along with game times and television information will be released in the near future.
