- Gonzaga faces UCLA in the fifth-place game of the 2023 Allstate Maui Invitational at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center Wednesday at 9 p.m. Pacific Time. It will be the third of three games in three days for the Zags.
- This is GU's sixth appearance in the Maui Invitational and the first since winning the 2018 title. The Bulldogs boast an 12-5 record in the event with tournament titles in 2009 and 2018.
- Gonzaga is 45-13 under Mark Few in events during the week of Thanksgiving, and 34-7 in the last 10 Thanksgiving week events. Under Mark Few, GU has won seven tournaments during the week of Thanksgiving, and played in 11 of the 17 tournament championship games.
- The Bulldogs are coming off a 76-57 win over Syracuse in the Maui Invitational Tuesday. Nolan Hickman scored 12 of his team-high 19 points after halftime and Graham Ike and Anton Watson posted double-doubles. Ryan Nembhard added 11 points, seven assists and five rebounds.
