SPOKANE, Wash. – Head coach Aaron Lewis has announced the addition of Talan Rochelle.

Rochelle comes from Ganite Bay, Calif., and attends Granite Bay High School. In the 2022-23 season, Rochelle scored 19 goals in 14 games and was named First Team All Area, naming him as a top player in the league. He was also the team captain and team MVP while being awarded the scholar athlete award as he maintained a 4.1 GPA.

In his club team, Rochelle was named to the ECNL National Team Training Camp, which had the top 90 ECNL players in the nation invited to compete at the event. He was selected as one of the top 18 players form the California Sate pool team to play in the Gothia Cup in Sweden. He also competed in the ECNL Contenital Tire National Selection Game, which was the top ECNL players invited to play in this game as he was chosen as a captain by his teammates. Rochelle was also named as ECNL Northern California All-Conferce First Team which recognizes the top players in the ECNL conference. Additionally, he was on the Top Drawer Soccer 2023-24 ECNL Player Watch List.

Rochelle, a freshman, will join the Zags in fall 2024.
