THE TIPOFF
- Gonzaga women's basketball travels to San Diego this Thursday, Feb. 23. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.
- GU is coming off a 65-51 win over Saint Mary's on Feb. 18 to make the Zags undefeated at home this regular season at 15-0. Yvonne Ejim scored 25 points and Kaylynne Truong hit four 3-pointers and added 14 points to guide the Bulldogs to the victory.
- The Zags have three players currently averaging double digits in so far this season, including Kaylynne Truong (16.5), Yvonne Ejim (16.5), and Brynna Maxwell (14.1). Truong and Ejim are currently fifth in the WCC in scoring. Maxwell also is ninth in the conference.
- The Bulldogs are currently shooting at a program record 79.2 percent from the free throw line, which also ranks sixth in the country. Brynna Maxwell leads the team individually with 94.3 percent, which leads the conference. She currently has only missed four free throws so far this year and has made 66.

- As a team, the Bulldogs are shooting a school record breaking 42 percent from beyond the arc, which is currently leading the nation. Kaylynne Truong ranks 15th in the country with 42.6 percent.
- Gonzaga went undefeated at home this year. GU has won the last 20-straight home games, which is the second best home winning streak in the country.
- Kaylynne Truong is currently dishing out 5.2 assists a game to rank first in the conference and 27th in the country. Overall, she has recorded 146 assists which is good for 20 in the nation. She has also scored in double figures in 18-straight games, and 25 games total this year. Against Portland, she scored her 1,000th career point in a Gonzaga uniform.
- The Zags are 31st in the country in field goal percentage with 45.3 percent. The mark is good for second in the WCC.

- Injuries have been an issue for GU this season as Gonzaga has been without senior guard Kayleigh Truong since Nov. 21. Redshirt junior forward Eliza Hollingsworth and Maud Huijbens returned to the lineup last week after both being out in concussion protocol.
- The Bulldogs were picked to win the West Coast Conference. The Zags received nine first-place votes that and totaled 81 points in the poll. The poll is voted on by the league's 10 head coaches, and coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team.
