SPOKANE, Wash. – Nebraska did all its scoring in the first half in a 3-1 road win at Gonzaga Sunday. It was the second meeting between the programs, after the Zags won the first in 2019.
The Cornhuskers' (3-0-1) Eleanor Dale scored twice in the 23
rd and 38
th minutes, following the opening goal from Nicola Hauk in the second minute.
Gonzaga outshot Nebraska 17-10, and had a 7-5 shots on goal advantage. GU also had a 12-10 edge in corner kicks. The Bulldogs (3-1-0) forced Nebraska's Samantha Hauk into six saves.
Lauren Towne made one save for the Zags.

Gonzaga welcomes Oklahoma to Luger Field Thursday for the second game of GU's tournament. Utah Tech faces Montana in Game 1 at 4 p.m., followed by the Zags and Sooners at 7 p.m.
