SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's basketball team put on a show at the 2026 Numerica FanFest in the Kennel at the McCarthey Athletic Center on Saturday.
Fans were treated to special player and coaching staff introductions, a three-point shootout, a hot shot challenge and half-court shots before an intrasquad scrimmage. The afternoon was filled with excitement, friendly competition and plenty of Bulldog spirit as fans got their first glimpse of the 2026-27 squad ahead of its inaugural season in the Pac-12 Conference.
During the scrimmage, Team White defeated Team Navy, 42-30. Lauren Whittaker led Team White with 12 points, while Inês Bettencourt added 10. Taylor Smith paced Team Navy with seven points.
The Zags return to the Kennel on Tuesday, Oct. 27, for their lone exhibition game against Westmont before officially opening the 2026-27 season on Nov. 2 against North Dakota State.
