The Bulldogs fought through a competitive match up but ended up falling short to UNLV, 4-0.
Back in doubles are were
Gus Krauel and
Diego Herrera who swept their doubles competition in a 6-4 victory for the Zags.
Nicholas Reeves and
Oscar Rashed also had an impressive match up against UNLV's Illia Maksymchuk and Marko Maksimovic but came up short for the Zags, 6(5)-7(7)A close double match up for
Jay Fairclough and
Giovanni Branchetti against UNLV, left the Zags down in doubles play, 6(5)-7(7).
As for singles,
Jay Fairclough faced Ilia Snitari on court one in a battle, but Fairclough came up short, 6-3, 6-1.
Giovanni Branchetti also fought through two sets against UNLV but lost 6-4 and 6-2.
Tom Dunlop was put up against Vitaliy Horovoy on court five, Dunlop came up short, 6-0, in both sets.
The men's tennis team will back playing in the Steven's Center Wednesday March 25th to take on Denver, the match will begin at 11am.
