2019-20 (Senior): ITA Scholar Athlete Singles: Posted a 6-2 overall record before the spring season was cut short due to COVID-19…opened the fall slate with back-to-back victories at the EWU Fall Classic, defeating EWU’s Erik Grimes 6-1, 6-3 followed by Idaho’s Brandon Hodge 6-3, 6-2…advanced to the final match of the Blue Draw at the Gonzaga Invitational, picking up victories against Northern Colorado’s Alex Exsted (6-2, 3-6, 6-3), Montana’s Josh Watkins (6-4, 6-2) and Idaho’s Vivek Ramesh (6-2, 6-2) before falling to Gonzaga’s Matthew Perkins, 4-6, 2-6…won his lone match in the spring against EWU’s Grimes, 7-5, 6-0. Doubles: Finished with a 4-2 overall doubles record, competing the entire season with Matthew Perkins…opened the season with three-straight victories against Idaho (8-6), Eastern Washington (8-7(7-5)) and Seattle (8-4)…opened the spring slate with a 6-1 win over Seattle’s Schmassmann and Alvarez Sanabria.
2018-2019 (Junior): Appeared in eight matches with a record of 6-2…advanced to the semifinals at the Dar Walters Classic with wins over Majeed Bukhari of Portland State 6-0, 7-6 and Montana State’s Mateus Ceolin 6-0, 6-0…won three matches at the Gonzaga Invitational before falling 5-7, 3-6 to Portland’s Leo Hibi in the singles finals…in his one spring appearance, defeated Montana State’s Marcos Zelver 6-3, 6-1. Doubles: 4-2 on the year, going 2-1 each with partners Simon Homedes Dualde and Michael Quinn…at the Dar Walters Classic, advanced to the round of 16 with Michael Quinn with a 6-0 win over Bear Lee and Matthew Biggi of Whitman and Utah State’s Sergui Bucur and Rithvik Bollipalli 6-1…claimed two wins with Homedes Dualde at the Gonzaga Invitational, defeating Finn Anderson and Jack Yount of Montana 8-5 and Martin Bats and Wout Doumen of Eastern Washington 8-6.
2017-18 (Sophomore): Singles: Posted a 5-7 overall singles record with a 3-7 mark in tournament play and a 2-0 record in duals…opened the season with a three-set win over San Francisco’s Marco Barretto in the round of 32 of the Aggie Invitational…also earned a three-set victory over Eastern Washington’s Martin Bats to advance to the round of 64 of the ITA Division I Men’s Northwest Regional Championship…helped Gonzaga to a 7-0 sweep of Whitworth as he bested Nick Huges 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6 singles…earned the three-set victory over Idaho’s Esteban Santibanez (2-6, 7-6(3), 6-4) at No. 5 singles. Doubles: Finished the season with a 3-8 overall doubles record…paired with Emilio Moreno for the majority of the season, finishing with a 2-7 tournament record and a 1-0 duals mark…after falling in the opening round of the Aggie Invitational, picked up two consolation wins over Saint Mary’s, 8-5, and Portland, 8-7(5)…helped Gonzaga to a 7-0 sweep of Whitworth with a 6-0 win at No. 3 doubles over Nick Huges and Nicholas Adell.
University of the Pacific: Played in nine matches as a freshman at Pacific...first collegiate win came against Fresno State March 4...also played in two doubles contests, downing a pair from Loyola Marymount March 26.
Anaheim Discovery Christian School: Graduated from Anaheim Discovery Christian School in Anaheim, Calif., but did the school did not offer tennis...was on the Honor Roll in 2015.
Other Experience: Won gold medal for Indonesia in the SEA Games in 2014 and ASEAN School Games in 2016...also played in U14 and U16 Junior Davis Cup...highest ITF rank was 293.
Personal: Parents are Diana and Tommy...has two sisters -- Michelle and Jennifer -- and one brother -- Justin...majoring in business administration...chose Gonzaga "for the quality of education and an opportunity to become a better tennis player. I really like the coaches here, and the community is great, too."
