Prior to Gonzaga
- Dominic hails from Lincoln High School in Portland, OR. On the track, highlights Include: 8
th place (6A) finish in the 1500m at the 2017 Oregon state meet. Arce was a scorer for the Lincoln team that finished runner up at the 2015 OSAA sate xc championships. Their team posted and impressive 17 second spread and all 7 members broke 16 minutes for the 5k distance.
Personal
- Majoring in Environmental Studies and Spanish. Both parents played collegiate sports, and his mother was a successful marathon runner. Arce is inspired by runners Jim Walmsley, Julius Achon, and Pre. Dominic chose GU for the academic and athletic tradition of excellence, the opportunity to be coached by the legendary Pat Tyson, and because of the team community here at Gonzaga. He also goes by “Dom”. Nickname: "Bert Brown"
