High School: Attended Seattle Prep, earning three letters in cross country for coach John Robertson, two in track and one in soccer...cross country captain as senior...second-team All-Metro as senior...team finished second in Washington State 3A Championship as junior and senior, fourth as a sophomore, and captured Sea-King Distrcit and Metro League titles as senior...personal bests of 4:42 for 1600m and 10:08 for 3200m in track.
