Button joined the Gonzaga staff in August of 2018. He enters his eighth season with the Zags in 2025-26.
Before arriving at Gonzaga, Button was as an assistant coach for the University of Idaho men's golf program.
Prior to joining the staff at Idaho, Button was the head coach at Moscow High School for three years. Born and raised in Moscow, Button is a 2003 graduate of Moscow High School and went on to play golf collegiately at Lewis-Clark State College. He received a bachelor's degree in Social Science from LCSC.
In addition to skill development, Button brings with him four years of professional caddy experience. His time on the bag will help Gonzaga's student-athletes on the course during competition. At Idaho, Button also offered day-to-day assistance with operational tasks and organization of practices.
