PERSONAL
Goehring comes from Del Oro High School in California and has club experience on Placer United and Sac Republic.
He was selected to Norcal IDP, PDP and Da National Training Center as a youth. He was also selected to the NorCal State team in 2019-20 and selected to attend the Integrated U19 Residential Academy at FC Shalke in Germany. In 2021, he was named all-tournament, in the top 11, at the Davis Legacy College showcase.
"I chose Gonzaga because it is a well-known athletic and academic university," Goehring said. "I love the school atmosphere and especially all of the students and staff that I've met so far. The team and coaching staff are amazing and have created a strong soccer culture that competes on a national level. From the moment I stepped on campus I felt very welcomed and at home."
Goering, listed at 5-8, is undecided on a major but has goals to play professional soccer for as long as he can and then either be a coach or a physical therapist after his soccer journey is over.
