- Appeared in 42 games with 35 starts... batted .246 with 29 hits, 34 runs batted in, and five home runs... led the team in on base percentage (.409), runs batted in, triples (2), and walks (27) while finishing second in home runs (5), third in slugging (.458), and fifth in runs scored (25)... recorded season highs in Gonzaga's 22-7 win over Washington State on Apr. 9, going 3-for-5 with four runs batted in, three runs scored and a home run... capped off GU's big comeback over No. 6 Vanderbilt on Feb. 25 with a go-ahead grand slam in the seventh inning.

Prior to Gonzaga
- One of the top two-way HBCU players in the country at Coppin State, Hamberg completed 2023 ranked 23rd in the nation in strikeouts per nine (12.12) after being named NEC Preseason Player of the Year. In 2022, he broke the CSU single-season program record for strikeouts with 87, including a program record 13 in a seven-inning complete game shutout over Norfolk State. Hamberg was apart of a Coppin State team that won the MEAC Championship and advanced to the Greenville Regional in 2022. 

Personal
- Hamberg is pursuing a degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business. He has been named to the deans list three times and has been apart of Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society for College Athletes. Also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and Xi Omicron Chapter of Delta Mu Delta Business International Honor Society.
