SOPHOMORE (2024): One of five Zags to start all 19 games this season... Logged a team-high 1,700 minutes, playing all but 10 minutes of game action, a career best... Played a key role in securing seven shutouts and a +7 goal differential.
FRESHMAN (2023-24): Started and saw action in all 20 matches this season for the Zags… Finished with a career-high 1641 total minutes played this year, which was the third-most on the squad… Had two assists and two total points this season, including earning assists against Weber State and San Diego… Was vital in earning seven shutout victories, and helped the Zags outscore their opponents by a margin of 56-22 this season.
PRIOR TO GONZAGA: Werner is another talented local product from the Spokane region out of Freeman High School. As an attacking midfielder, Werner has totaled 63 goals and 69 assists throughout the first three years of her high school career. Werner has been named a member of the Northeast 1A League All-Conference teams three times and has also been awarded an Athletic Academic Award three times while honing a 4.0 GPA. Lead Freeman High School for 3 years in Assists.
